Some BMWs have bolts going all the way through with a nut at the other side. Not sure its a very common system.
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.

They might also turn turtle esp if you use the freeze spray.

Laugh but it works it the impact frees the threads.

Oh I'm not laughing. In the past I've employed all manner of ways to free seized or thread locked bolts. A tap with a hammer works wonders. A spray with CRC or WD40, if one can get the stuff into the right place, is tried and true. Simple dunking in hot water also has worked in the past. Bit hard to get a wheel into the bathtub though I'd venture...

The amount of heat I applied could be achieved by holding your tongue on the bolt. A hair dryer would be easier.

Bugger, I took the bolts out of a Honda. Could have given myself a wee primp at the same time.

A bit of warmy coolly tappy tap tap sounds the go.
    Manopausal.

Yeah, once, my missus walked in with one of her girlfriends when I had my leather suit spread out on the lounge floor. On top of a few towels spread out, using her hairdryer to work the dubbin/beeswax into the suit...if looks could kill

Kinda makes a few stuck rotor bolts seem like a piece of weez...

Tried the heat but still no luck. Probably because my heat gun packed in after 15 secs . So it's off to Bunnings to get a replacement tonight. Tried the hair dryer but that only got me grief. Her who must be obeyed wasn't too happy about me having her brand new blowwie thing in the garage
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

No nut, just bolt with hex key.

Blowie in the garage. A good start to the night but won't do much for your rotors.

Heat also weakens chemical bonds like rust and electrolysis and also weakens Loctite.
Cycles of heat to cause expansion and contraction help free stuck fasteners.

PS the rotors are likely held only by bolts.
I pay (qualified) people to do jobs I find difficult.

    It's worked so far ..
