Its so Donkey can get the union jack off the flag distancing the links and going down the go your own direction leaving IWI with nobody to claim against so that rich people live in Auckland without losing their homes. I will call it step one in the Treaty down the loo trick.

Likely a diversion to the important things like our health system which is not flash ATM.

My 2c on the flag offerings, I am not into rugby, if that's what the fern is about well you can just take that off, looks like a fishbone anyway. If the black colour if representing our native people it is wrong. from last census 14.9 % note;decendant Maori, 20 % Asian and Islander folk living here, the rest European- Pakeaha (I hate that) which is what the Union Jack in the main represents (Scottish, Irish, Brits).
To be fair about it, simply snip off that corner and we can be a country with a flag that represents who we all are as a nation, and that is NEW ZEALANDERS, i.e a blue flag with the Southern Cross.

Then get back to running this country TYVM.

Curiosity killed the cat! - you get over a lot of that as you age - it's just another piece of rag on a stick - but then it is our collective piece of rag!

i'll reiterate that it ISNT a flag, its an ENSIGN and that the government exists as an UNLAWFUL,, probably ILLEGAL, and DEFACTO mob-rule fuckarsery. And that i worry that all you fucking homos contemplating aknowledging JKs hoorah about it are going to give the appearnce of representative governance when the crown becomes a LEGAL fucking entity.
Thankfully mother england has bigger fish to fry than re-colonising. But it probably also places NZ inc. as a saleaable asset which the yanks will buy.

But carry on discussing the fucking pictures. They're important.

My Facebook is full of idiots sharing pictures about the flag change. Apparently a flag change will remove us from the Commonwealth, changing the flag will let the tppa through and removes "due authority" or something....

AT LEAST FUCKING GOOGLE AND FACT CHECK! I did and it turns out every single picture I've seen shared on FB against the flag change is wrong.

I saw it on the internet, it must be true. Scaremongering and influencing the votes of the idiots of society.

Key just wants a legacy. All the laws and policies of his tenure could be gone in a few months to a few years if a motivated party decided it should be so... flags rarely change.

If he gets his way he will reside in our history books until the next time the issue comes up. When will that be? Another 100 years?
