1) The flag we are trying to change now. Admittedly it did start life as an ensign but became the nation's official flag in 1902. I believe the NZ maritime ensign has a white background instead of blue.
2) English, te reo Maori, NZ Sign Language.

Dammit. I had to refer to Wiki to see what you're on about. Interesting points ... English is accepted as the official language because of it's pretty much universal use but only Te Reo and NZ Sign Language have ever been actually granted officlal language status through statute.
