    years ago, i sized my bucket.... managed to pull it apart once it had cooled.

    Pulled out piston, lightly (?) sanded bore with 120grit sand paper, sanded the scratches on piston, rings..
    put back together (after dusting and cleaning).
    went bucket racing for another year till it blew...

    so, send me your gear, i will do it for you. I know how to do it, it worked for me....
