RG150 conrod and all associated bearings needed

In the weekend my 3 day old rg150 decided to start knocking badly. Have found out that is was the lower conrod bearing. Does anyone know where to get one ?

Ummmm...wouldn't you ask your closest dealer?

You need a 'rod kit' when you call them.

I asked my closest dealer for a rod kit and all he could do was a pipe kit

Yeah I got a similar response, except it was over 1 grand for all parts needed I'll probably just get the rod off them then find the rest myself (they quoted over 150 for some of the bearings)

In reality, the piston and barrel are the weakest point on the RG. You could probably get a whole bottom end for one from any number of people who race/d them. Track down the Chandlers through Victoria motorcycle club. They'll have ten of them...at least.
