    There used to be a hobby crowd that had laptop cases you fit an atx motherboard with their psu, but no battery and standard laptop peripherals.
    But they went under. Because product was heavy, ugly, expensive and inconvenient.
    Dell corporate will give you a price on any spec you want but if it can't be met out of their inventory you need to order a few hundred.
