Easy... you say you want a really big screen, I double check that's what you want, specify how much it's going to weigh (17" screen) - so around 4-5kg. You insist.

I deliver (already setup prior) and your first reaction is blimey, that's a bit big and heavy.

It's barking mad and if it doesn't turn you into a complete loon within half an hour of cocking a leg over the lofty 875mm seat height, I'll eat my Arai.

My new Laptop is more of a portable desktop - but, as I leave it plugged in 95% of the time, anyway...it doesn't really matter

    Metabox (Clevo) P750ZM

15.6" FHD 1920x1080 IPS Matte LED
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM
    Intel Core i7-4790K Processor ( 8MB L3 Cache 4.00 - 4.40GHz) - it's a desktop processor
    16GB DDR3-1866MHZ RAM
    Samsung 850 EVO 250GB M.2 SATA 3 SSD - for main boot
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SATA3 SSD - I had a spare one so - into HD bay #1 it went.
1TB 7200RPM HDD - bulk storage in HD bay #2
Intel 8260 AC Dual Band WIFI/BT
No optical drive, but I've got an external one anyway, and also run it through a 24" HD Monitor screen
Running Win7 Pro ATM - a bit heavy at 3.1Kg
Heat not a problem so far, but then, I'm not a modern gamer, and it runs CAD style programs OK.....

    I was feeling bored!
