Can remember dad sitting up in the kitchen listening to the radio broadcast in the early hours, before tv, then a few years later, going around to the uncle's to watch b & w footage of the 63/64 tour a week after the game had been played.(took a week to get the film flown out to NZ). Winston McCarthy and Bill McLaren were the voice's of broadcasting back then.

Back to today, McCaw, will be condemned if he does not get cited, condemned if he does.

Best that they scraped in today (points-wise) the outcome was never in doubt as to which was the better side though - not so much expectation in the final.

Did that in the 70's...,Dad was the motivator. Rugby and even the odd FA Cup Final. Personally I see no need to do that nowadays, so many other ways to watch a game of choice.

The video show nothing much to get excited about (regarding the Richey McCaw alleged incident) I firmly doubt he was negligee at all.

He is not even looking in his direction when the contact occurs or before.

The news outlet reported that Louw finished the match with two wounds to his forehead requiring a total of 20 stitches.

When asked how he incurred the cuts, the Bath flanker said: "I'm not sure, I think it was at the bottom of a ruck".

Former England hooker Brian Moore tweeted out a vine of the incident and was widely lambasted for suggesting "this might be interesting" when officials have a look at it.

He's a bored former English forward. need I say more........................
he tweeted it. I doubt the RWC officials will be that interested.

Well he is a front rower, so there is obviously nothing wrong with his intelligence, so maybe he is just blind.

Apparently McCaw is not going to be 'set up'. I started to watch the game this morning but after 20 minutes gave up.

Unfortunately, for the next week the papers are going to be full of garbage by the experts about how the AB's are at risk from this one, that one, themselves, the ref's, crowds etc. Some of these ex players have never scored so many tries, made so many tackles, as they have since they retired.

Hah! Should be a beauty of a final.. AB's must deal to the Rhodesian ridgeback ( Pocock) & protect Dan Carter - to win..

An interesting look at another view of the rugby cup. Probably a fair element of reality in this one. Makes a change from the obsession within the media about how nobody outside of NZ likes the AB's.
