Well, England are one of only 2 teams to defend a World Cup in the consecutive Final (the other being Australia), The 2011 World Cup was a bit of a let down.

So did England defend it well.
To be fair 1987 and 1999 were hardly banner years for old blighty either.

NZ has only missed the last four once and that year.
