Andy Hayden was professional diving years ago.

Note according to the ref he never saw the Hayden dive but the ref was calling on the pushing of the other all Black (5) Frank Oliver?

The dive wasn't why the penalty was awarded.

Aye. But you had to go back 38 years to find it. And he copped shit about it, rightly, ever since.

It's the most cynical, dishonest form of cheating there is.

Well He was an Aucklander. Richie deserved to be sent off he was and it also didn't look like Hansen was that pleased at him making light of it either.
I wonder if Richy will still be knighted now. He has something like a 90 present winning record. player of the year a few times never ever seen any scandal about him.

Steady on dude, bad enough pointing out the blatant diving.

I wasn't sure Richie's was deliberate until he fessed up, wasn't clear. And yeah, we're well good enough at trimming our own tall poppies, don't need help from fucking ignorant foreigners.

I was sure as soon as they showed the angle from behind the posts rather than side on in the last replay you can see where he watched waited and then stuck his leg out.
It was a bad call of judgement considering his past record, hes allowed a lapse of course its just a shame.
I'm bloody surprised the media wags haven't starting picking on old Murdock again yet, i guess this is the excuse they need.

Before nanny state referees the players sorted themselves out. The good old days.

They were bloody amateurs at it, here is the real pros.
Watch for the 3 in a row uppercut from Les Kiss

    The fight everyone remembers

in case anyone is wondering that 50 meter try is scored by Dean Bell playing on the wing.
One thing I never knew was Dean Bell and Clayton friend are cousins. Back to rugby

The way the AB's have been playing, there could well be another upset among the heavyweights. They have not been particularly convincing against the cannonfodder tier.

...are you suggesting that the Pumas, who knocked over SA and Aussie recently are, cannon fodder...I think not... yes Namibia did score a try against a giant, cool...most teams can put a try on the AB's in any test, and often do...it's still along way to the shop...

    They've won both - they have no injuries ... everyone's had a run ...

What more do you want? Should they go out and slaughter ever team every time and risk injuries or burnout? No ... they need to top their pool then they need to get through each knockout round ...

They are spot on right now .. they can save the big game for the final ...

No one player has not had a trot yet.
    Waisake Naholo
As much as I rate both him and Scudder on attack both have been found flailing about in defence at times.
I don't care about the score lines but the backs have looked very rusty.
I would not be surprised if the defence does not improve to see Nonu tried out on the wing to make room for SBW. Its not as if they haven't played him their before.
