Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.
Nice gesture by SBW.

...SBW's rugby skills have become quite sublime and his persona is following suit...I have a much higher regard for him these days, a hell of a lot more than when he became the focus of the media a few seasons back...it's just a game but it feels good to know that we have the Webb Ellis Trophy locked up in our cupboard for another stint...
Very pleased to see the 'oldies' go out of test rugby winning at the highest level, and by playing at their best, not being propped up by the rest of the team.
Austraian media not so happy, but who gives a shit.![]()
" Rule books are for the Guidance of the Wise, and the Obedience of Fools"
Allah is great.
Thank fuck its finished.
Churches are monuments to self importance
As my brother-in-law just said to me "when you take the AB out of WallABies you are left with wallies". Ok that was lame, but I am looking forward to the outcome of the AirNZ / Qantas wager...
Unfortunately I don't think Qantas will repaint their fleet (cool looking option on the stuff website article)![]()
For all the Shit I gave the ABs (and it was a lot) about not being able to win away from Eden Park etc.
They played an absolute brilliant game - good to see the old guard playing well.
Will be interesting to see how the ABs fair with the 6 retirees gone.
and SBW - I used to think he was a bit of a Knob, but I think Rugby Union and having family has really done wonders for him - that shot of him helping that kid, what a Gentleman!
Physics; Thou art a cruel, heartless Bitch-of-a-Mistress
This RWC has been, (sorry, overly cliched by now), unbelievably good for rugby, worldwide. Fuck the detractors who detest the game but who probably have passions for something a lot of us would feel cold toward.
It was not always going to be a playoff between the four better teams who are southern hemisphere teams, but it ended that way.
It will be particularly memorable for our son, a rugby freak living in the UK at the moment and our daughter who is over that way on a bit of a euro tour with two mates. They both ended up getting tickets to the Cardiff and Newcastle games, both unaware of the fact that they would be seeing each other and this next bit makes me smile...she and her two mates scored tickets to the final, four hours before kickoff...I wasn't aware of her new found love of the game, but she is now a true blue, die hard rugby freak, and very fortunate...they cost a bit too...
