OK, either of these are good buying. Anyone know the guy.

I am currently dithering about a "buy now" on the VFR

First year Fireblade. "Wrong" colourscheme (my mates one in 93 was the white/purple/orange) but this looks pretty tidy.

The tidiest VFR NC30 on tardme in a while

Same they never built a 750 version.
I am talking affordable rather than RC30.
The VFR750f's are kind of bland tourers that got no faster after about 87 if anything they got slower

there are about four on there. That is cheap yes but it will never appreciate (if thats your thing) because of how non-original it is. Its also an SP2 not an SP1. Definitely a better bike but again collector value is less.

If you wanted it as a thrasher and trackday toy, your entry cost is very reasonable.....

How about that? Thought I was going potty, but marketed here and most sensible places as VTR1000 sp2, but RTV1000 US etc. Odd. Oops RVT. Doesn't roll off the tongue very well does it?

Presumably the septics got the VTR1000 Fartstorm and didn't want the confusion. These are completely different and have Ti rods n'shit.

It was styled by Hans Muth and less than 6500 were made.
It is a little darling and very collectable.

And the other thing - if this is a "Custom Racer" with a sporty fairing, clips on and rear-sets, why the fuck has he got knobbly tyres on it!!!

    And all for only $12,300!!!
    A bargain!!!
    What a pillock.

Thanks for the heads up, I've asked if he has the original parts for a rainy day if I decide to turn my racer back to original. I got it as a stripped down racer but turns out its a matching numbers LS.

styled by someone that probably owned one of those bald cats and had a hanky in their top pocket all the time, fact is they only sold a limited number as no-one wanted any more.

Perhaps they should export hankies and bald cats to the US and UK as they have outlasted nearly all and dabble in cars too.

    Yup.
I remember when they came out - amazing what some small styling changes added to the bike.

Just as ugly even uglier with the wheels
They would have been better off getting Jabba the Hutt to do the styling
