But stock for the sake of originality doesn't make for a very pleasant ride. The other one you posted will probably disappear into a collection.
Yeah he's a bit of a skunk with that description. Skim read it and you'd forgivably think it was an SN.
I had a shafty 11 with CBR brakes as my tourer hack. Grouse bike until you were riding with others and getting a push on. Nothing 20 years of chassis development wouldn't fix I always thought.

Replaced it with an RF900 for that reason. Underrated bike they all say. Spent ages trying to make it what it should have been. GS wobbled more but was a far more lovable bike. RF was the reason 90s Suzukis sucked. Goats.

In fact I'd rather have one of these.

I like it but I hate it, why oh fuking why did the Mercans have to have such silly bars attached to their bars in the 70s and 80s?

Note- the bike used was a post war Tr6, Steve McQueen did not do the actual jump but was one of the chase German bikes.

There's a chap in Hamilton who ran an engineering business had one boxed up with zero k's, along with a Ducati 851 with zero k's too. Also a fully refurbished early E-type. Don't know if he still has them.
