    Bit harsh there chap.
The seller gives a vague description, offers naff pictures and doesn't answer questions. So far he is the closest to being a fuckwit.

Catflap has contempt for all men. It must be a dissatisfying way to live.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

the gentleman selling the BR2 seems right at the top of the foodchain in that category, when asked for photos on condition, he simply said piss off.

Well you said the people in the ESE threads were Saps. 3 of them at least built world championship winning machines. Guess they are fuckwits by your standards.

Taupo shop assistants clearly are evolution's high water mark.

Either that or you are deluded.

I'd let you work that out, but as you are pretty simple I'll clear that up for you.

You are not smart. Obvious to the rest of us. Go cry to the moderators.

    Go.

I think you're contempt is for pretty much anyone you can't see in the mirror.
Must be a fuckin sad way to live.
Could you explain what was fuckwitted about asking him for a chat?

So Bob at $15.5k was it a bargain, about right or a rip off?

I would have said a bargain

It was definitely a bargain providing all information is correct., & it turns out my wife popped a quiet bid on as she knew I was quite keen, but had pulled out. Bless her wee socks.
Those roller bearing crank engines don't like being parked up for years, the crank journals get rust spots & they get a big end knock, so you would have to factor a crank into a bike that's been lying around un started for years.
I have eyes for another bike that's better than that bike in every way for similar money.

if the guy had posted some proper photos, and dealt with people and not literally told them to piss off he would have got at least another 10-15k, McIntosh Suzukis are late twenties mid thirties all day long, and that's the common ones, this is very rare being one of four BR2's built as bikes, the other three were kits, it was high spec with floating discs etc and hadn't been fucked with.
yip it needed going over again, and yip at the last moment he said there wasa dent in the tank, odd that it fell over and the only damage was that .
he was in a bad situation and had to sell, shame he didn't see the need to capatilise on that and do it well

'It was definitely a bargain providing all information is correct.'
But the information was very lacking.
I had a couple of questions in there, one unanswered and one answered but lot interest because of his shitty attitude and lack of clarity.
Unless there were things being hidden the guy could have easily got (IMO) closer to $20k with a better description, better pictures and a better attitude.
    Lets go Brandon
