Steve Ward, Nick Jefferies, Joey Dunlop and winner Phil McCallen
Steve Linsdell was a pretty decent rider as evidenced by a third place in the proddy IOM on a XJ600.

Yeah there were some articles in Performance Burkes back in the day about stripping weight of the thing. Not quite James Parkers Radd something I'd read about in Cycle.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I have one of the PBs stll, i might have even posted it before on KB, Steve did have a bit of a leg up of the normal privateer owning a Yamaha dealership.

    Reckon it will hit $10k?

Also I want this in the worst possible way. I remember drooling over onein Pikes Suzuki in Timaruvia aged 16 or 17.

My first ever wheelie was on one of them, when I was about 7. I was petrified to the pillion seat as my dad "tested" it.

Fond memories, I blame my dad for everything.

Ha. I was drooling over that. Has been traded 2 years back. Its actually a G with Daytona stickers so should have had the euro pinstripes we got. It's the model I want. Bro in law took 13yr old me pillion and made me need motorbikes in my future.

RD350B was as close as I got to a 400.

I was vieing to buy one 2, 3 years back, even bought a workshop manual, still in contact with potential seller. So still might but prices are a bit salty now.

Had one of those too. With TS pistons for like 275cc. Mate sold one recently. Didn't make an offer.

i would put it up there. only nearly bettered by a Rob North 3 or a TZ750
the only problem with the egli's was a lot were kind of ugly. They also had weird ergonomics.
This is the best one below i remember, other than the original hill climber.

I was talking to the owner a while back - saw it outside a cafe in Carterton and went back to have a look. Nice guy, quite happy for me to take a few pics and to tell me about it. Apparently first owner only put a few thousand Kms on it, decided he didn't like it and left it in a damp concrete shed.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Yeah but if you bought it, wouldn't it just disappear at some stage?
