    Team Rumi
They ran the official Superbike squad and carried the flag well after the RC30 was noncompetitive
So they were a bit peeved when Honda created the Castrol team to run the RC45 and left them out in the dark with only kit parts.
For Crafar it had its advantages as they could run Ohlins forks and shocks rather than far more expensive showas that were no where near as good.
but they were down on power.

Funny. First instinct was " that's a great basis for a radical special " I mean while I'm dreaming, might as well go whole hog.
Don't you look at my accountant.

    There's no such thing

Spondon or Harris chassis and single sided swingarm. Ohlins forks and shock. Crabon wheels. Schwantz Suzuka (pale blue not not lucky strike) livery.

    Say.....

    $50k would build it.

Now yer talking. I have a racing mate who built a replica Schwantz frame, based on a real one and remachined a set of cases to make the square 4 into a V4. YZ 125 barrels. Have pictures on PC somewhere.

Yes Nigels. He hand beat that frame made a beautiful job of the pipes. Didn't have a decent camera but was awesome. He didn't have time to finish it. Glad I didn't buy it as I wouldn't have done it justice.

Last i heard it was in his lounge not quite finished - possibly needing heat treatment of the frame or swingarm
