Fxr 150 regulator rectifier faulty?

This might be a long post.

I got a fxr 150 off my cousins friend and the battery in it was installed NOV of 2014 but it has a slight bulge in the side of it and it does not hold a charge, even when put on a battery charger over night it only holded its charge for a day then the next day boom, completly flat. you cannot eletric start the bike at all untill you have riden it for 20 mins and then you can electric start it for probably the next 4 hours or something but once you leave it over night its pretty much dead. Also, the bike at the front has 2 headlight bulbs and the left side is 100% solid on working fine but but the right one at idle flickers a bit and dims a tiny bit and you know when sometimes when you idle a bike the idle sputters or like hick ups for a quick second then goes back to normal? well when that happens the light dims alot but the left side one remains fine. reving the bike doesnt seem to effect the right headlamp. ok so this is what I think is wrong. since the battery is dead the regulator rectifier might be faulty and caused it to over charge but the guy i brought the bike off used that EXACT battery in his other bikes and one of his other bikes could of stuffed the battery up and if it was the regulator rectifier wouldnt the left side headlamp be flickering to instead of staying on and working fine?

Oh for fuck sake that's too hard to read. Use some paragraphs.

Here's what you do. Buy a cheap multimeter. Look around but between $20 and $40 should fine something use able. Put it on volts 20v setting and over that battery when running. Should be 13-14.5 volts. Then get back with results. Super simple.

Also your bulb holder is corroded. Clean it up, and or swap the bulbs on a long shot.
