    This is my experience. Every WOF I've done, the tester has never actually moved the bike under power. I hop on, take off, speed up and then brake - they tick the box.

    This is something I've come across a lot. Full front end swaps go under the radar. Although I suppose a lot of testers wouldn't know that that Gixxer front doesn't belong on a TL.

    On this subject, how many people on here or that you know have gotten/needed to get a certification for a front end swap?

    Only certed bikes I've come across have frame modified beyond certain criteria, suspension mounting points or heavily modified swingarms.
    I think a lot of the time nobody noticed that that particular front end isn't original on that bike.
    However if you put a CBR front end with USD forks on a mid 70s CB750/4 or a Z1, it would probably start attracting a few questions.
