It's been in use for just one year on my Moto Guzzi V11 Sport. It would be great as a battery for your resto project. In fact, it would be great as it is fullstop.
The spec is as following:
Made by Hawker, model is an Enersys Genesis battery. It's a sealed lead-acid (i.e. AGM) so you can actually mount it on it's side if space is limited. It's a 13Ah, 12V unit. At the moment I've got it on a maintenance tender as it has been out of the bike for 2 months. A test cycle output is 12.9/13V which is pretty damn good. The tender assessment is that the battery is "strong". Design life is 10 years so there should be plenty in the old girl yet. Dimensions: L175mm / W83mm / H129mm / weight 4.9kg.
It probably wouldn't turn over a car, the CCA probably won't be enough. But your boxer twin, sportster, bonneville etc....yeah why not? It turns over my twin 1064cc Guzzi anyway.
Reason it's on here is I've experimented with a LiFePO4 which seems to be working very well. I thought I'd offer it on here FOR FREE to save me disposing of it, paying disposal fees for the privilege of poisoning the earth, when it is actually working really well.
