    Honda CB900 Hornet 2007

    2007 Honda Hornet CB900 (CB919)
    48,000 kms

Immaculate condition - very tidy and well looked after. All serious offers will be considered.

This bike runs incredibly well - smooth but powerful, and the best of both worlds when it comes to commuting and weekend fun. Exterior of the bike is in very good condition. It has predominantly been used for high mileage commuting - the best type of riding for an engine, rather than cold short distance riding which causes wear and tear.

I have the full service history of my time owning the bike, I have spared no expense in keeping this bike in a tidy condition and well working order, recently including:

    • Fork oil and seals replaced at 34,981 KM
    • Valves checked at 36,650 KM (no adjustment required, reported as immaculate internal condition)
    • Most recent oil & filter (Motul 5100 10w-40) change at 46,480 KM

    Mods include:

    • Dual Danmoto Exhausts
    • Power Commander 3 USB
    • Front and Rear steel braided lines
    • 520 Chain conversion
    • Adjustable levers
    • Ventura Pack Rack
    • Stomp grip on both sides of tank
    • Puig screen
    • Aftermarket mirrors
    • Aftermarket indicators

Test rides at my discretion - your cash in my hand, and after you have signed a waiver - if you crash it, you own it. I am located in St Lukes, Auckland

Reason for sale: moving to a v-twin machine.

It's a wonder bike's like this seem difficult to sell. They do everything reasonably well, fantastic touring or fun day bike. This one looks to be in great condition with the right extras added to make it a personable bike for someone. Turn key bike really.

Nice example for sure, when I sell the Tiger I will look at a CB1300 again, great bikes and often mistaken for a Hornet. There's on one on TM at the moment like the one I owned for under $7K.

Yep, it's definitely been a fantastic bike for me and the only reason I am selling it is I no longer need something so tame and upright now I am no longer commuting long distances. I'm after something a bit more sporty for weekend fun Although in saying that I did manage to beat a CBR600rr around Hampton Downs on this

It's only been just under a week and I've had a bit of interest from Trademe.

    Fingers crossed

Bloody great bikes. Excellent base to modify to your own desire and respond extremely well to suspension tweaks.

For a time, I was commuting approximately 130kms a day and this bike was perfect for it - good seat position.

On average during that time, I was getting to about 200-215 kms before the fuel light came on.

Cool thanks for that, how much was it to fill up from when the fuel light came on? $25?
