The road surface was dry, it was a gorgeous day.The sun was high in the sky. I know the road/corner well, and I also know how solid those traffic light posts are.

They guy was going waaaaaay too fast in a 50k zone and could've skittled many innocent people. How'd you be if a family member of yours was killed by this clown?

Sad for the family yes, but very lucky it's only one family doing the grieving.
Everyone is an expert and knows it all. Yes, it looks like his speed was high. But we do not know. Or maybe you have one of those time-travel-Lazy-Boys that gives you the option of seeing it in person? The rest of us were not close enough to be able to know.

Re your question how I would be if a family member was killed by him, that IS a stoopid question.

But all is as always here: opinions w/o knowledge.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Both are far smarter than their school cert results would have had you believe.
I remember when I told my father I'd been expelled... He was angry. He said, "What about the School Cert?"

    She got expelled too.

Note of interest, over the years, biker down threads (thankfully fewer than what there used to be) have become more of a two way street, rather than always the fault of someone else or something else.

    Well, you're still wrong.

Case in point. I spent considerable time travelling the NI roads last week at decent licence-losing speeds (pissed off a cop and scared a camera-van operator, too boot). The outcome? No crashes, No accidents, No tickets.
    Fast AND safe.
