I strongly disagree with morons doing those kinds of speeds in built up areas where pedestrians, particularly school kids, stand to be taken out. This is a clear example of actions having consequences and it is fortunate that only the guilty party here suffered the consequences.

That said, the holier than thou vitriol being spewed forth here is retarded. No fucking sense of decorum. Many young people when they first get onto bikes ride as though they are bullet proof and as though they cannot hurt another road user. I am guilty of this....and I know AT LEAST 20 OR 30 guys from KB that I used to ride with 10-12 years ago who rode equally as irresponsibly and I suspect that there is probably very little difference between this young rider and those of us who rode together on the "Coro GP" or similar type rides. Unfortunately, young guys are able to procure fast bikes long before we have the common sense to be responsible on them...even if the road craft skills make fast riding possible. The result will be riders who don't really think about the consequences of their actions.

But then, I guess you all probably kept your noses 100% clean and never did anything irresponsible or dangerous in your youth. That or you spent more time key board warrioring it up on here than actually out riding.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

You'll find that if your diet isnt full of over processed 'food' and chemical preservatives, colours, flavourings etc, neither would yours.

How do you know SPEED was the issue .. ?????

Perhaps they were just traveling too close together .... Group riders often do that.

Does it really matter if you die because of your own fuck up ... or somebody else's ...???

If public roads were up to the same standard as race tracks ... and the riders were riding to the standard of those in your pic ... fewer riders might die on public roads.

Or maybe a dog ran out and the rider lost control while trying to avoid the alien space ship that was parked in front of the white house. What the fuck would you know?

And on the public roads there are a lot of people around that can fuck up - more importantly, there's an awful lot of people out there that can fuck YOU right up in the blink of an eye.

Can you not change the record about group rides and people trying to keep up? We get your point/obsession.

EDIT - And the post above Same record, just the B side.
