I personally don't see any point in searching the personal background of
Igor Nikulin, as it is simply irrelevant to the discussion.
He was simply one of several commentators who pointed to the facts that:
1. The Skripal samples provided by the UK had been submitted to the OPCW,
and then on to the independent Swiss state lab Spiez for analysis. And
that the active agent found was BZ (not a Novichuk in sight);
and
2. That the symptoms reportedly experienced by the Skripals tallied well
with those expected of BZ poisoning.
Which were the salient points of the linked article.

The story was written as if Igor was some kind of independent expert for the OPCW this is incorrect he was put forward to protect Russia's interests in the OPCW.
Igor is the Former Director of the Security Problems. His role was developing secrecy laws in Russia. What do you think that means?
The link is to the Russian news outlet Sputnik. This is owned and solely controlled by the Russian Government.
All the rest of the story is not sourced at all. Did you not find any of this odd?

So can you find any source for Robert Fisk other than the one doctor Dr Assim Rahaibani by his own admission never treated the people and was not even there.
Are you aware that its practically guaranteed Assim Rahaibani works for the Syrian government or can you prove he is even a medical doctor or if that Fisk really even interviewed him at all.
