How to pronounce "Hyosung"

Whenever anyone mentions hyosung they say "high sung". It actually pronounced "h yo sung". Is it just convenience or do they really think thats how you say it? Even the hyosung dealer in Takapuna says it wrong.

Not that i really care but its weird they cant say it right.

Don't expect too much, Hyosung is a foreign word. Many people can't spell "eh" and that's English - and it only has two letters.

I blame the Minstry of Education and a succession of fuckwit ministers.

...seems pretty simple to me, if you can read...Hy- O-Sung...three syllables...a lot of people can't read...doesn't make them dumb, just lazy and disadvantaged...
