there's a couple of others on trademe at the moment, why is no one keen on these? Steve Lindsell finished 9th in the Senior TT on one of these in 1994

I think its because no other bikes have that concept and they are a bit "out there" for most people..I absolutely love the way it rides and handles,no forks mean no diving under braking.there was i feature write up in the Sept 2011 M/C trader on them.my bike was owned by racer Chris Mitchell as his private bike.

Ahead of it's time in the front end. And as a result not popular. As a community we are picky on what we embrace in the way of new or different technology - look at all the electronic engine aids (anti this anti that etc tc) and electronic suspenders. But if a front end looks different ....

Honda is going to release the Goldwing with a totally different front end soon.

Styling was a bit fuddyduddy, but I rode one and thought it was great. Could have used a bit more stomp.

But if you sell it what will we call you? Heck if I stopped F5 racing I'd just be Dave. Baggs the capital D.

Oh yeah? What are they up to?

Suppose they will get all adventurous and relocate the ABS sticker from the top of the fork legs to the bottom and gosh darn wouldn't ya know it......... Stick us for another 3k on top of the already over bloated new price for the pleasure no doubt eh.

I like the idea of one
I still have the write up somewhere from PB of the IOM one
Steady as a rock but heavy as the wheels and brakes set up.
Its a shame they never used the Morpho styling concept it was supposed to be.

The Gilera CX125 used the same concept for the front end & it also had single sided swingarm as well and was in production 2yrs before the GTS1000 was released. Cost killed the idea.

Yes That's what the computer says too, but the RADD Yamaha styling was very ugly

The Morpho (imo) was a clean design with a pretty good colour scheme to boot. (even if its 90's pastel)
Even now it is not that dated design wise. The bike was also a 400cc

I love the GTS 1000 as well as all the Bimota TESI bikes. I have a Duolever front end on my BMW K1200 S. Way better than standard forks
