Dainese leather jacket supplier in Christchurch?

    Hi team,

I really want a 'Dainese Racing D1' Leather jacket. Does anyone know a stockist in Christchurch. Want to try on so I can get the right size.
Otherwise I will have to chance it with Bimoto Belgium.

    Cheers for your help,

    Jon B

Hmmm can't say I've seen them local. Motomail Aucky stock them.

    Avon City Suzuki stock Alpinestars.

Ducati branded jackets are Dainese I believe but Casbolts probably get them through Ducati? Worth a call I guess.

Or you could try Motomail in Auckland. They would seem to have that jacket in stock. In a black 58 anyway. If you ring them they should be able to arrange something.

In case you aren't aware, Italian jackets are not made overly large although the sleeves are usually plenty long enough. Italians seem to have longish arms.
If you're thinking you might need a jumper or back protector it might pay to think a bit big. I wish I'd thought bigger when I bought my Spidi - the bugger seems to have shrunk.

Did you end up buying from Belguim? How much did they charge for postage?
