Still getting mid to high 30's for temps,so here's hoping there is no repeat of England, weatherwise.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Indeed, and fingers crossed, no serious injuries yet.

The weather has certainly added an extra WTF element to this season. It highlights tactics and testicle size.

Speaking of which, their must be a gentleman's undergarment tailor that only caters to the fastest and bravest racers. Personal introductions only, like the Freemasons. I've scoured the net but have yet to find a bespoke tailor for very large balls.

The image I had was of a Saville Row, mens under outfitters to the creme de la creme of speed, with warm, soft hands and non frightening measuring equipment. Not a mule driver.

Something like - Scrote, Clench & Clutch, purveyors of rare gentleman's racing sundries.

Oxley neglects to mention the Commonwealth riders in the 60s. Hocking, Redding, Anderson and others won a lot of GPs. Unless he is lumping them in with the Brits?

Other than that it's up to his usual standard.

So its the Weather,Michelin tyres and Limited Electronics. Two are Dorna's fault.
Gets the poms excited tho, huh ? I enjoy his writings.

Is "fault" quite the right word? All three classes are providing great racing now and while some of us, me included, may not have approved some of the changes at the time, the changes do seem to have improved matters. Field sizes are up and the racing is mostly close and unpredictable.

It makes picking winners difficult. Not that it was easy before?

yeah failed humour there, but yes it has closed things up .
More so than the 'Factory2' class they tried before that.

Put a dollar on it all being back to square one when the sun shines in Misano ? No ?
The best guys always float to the top 90% of the time.
Saying that I wouldn't complain if #93 had a DNF and #46 got a bootload.

Nice work if you can get it. Brent Stevens and Alex Briggs both posted about their afternoon.
In Alex Brigg's words, "Spent the arvo riding at a mates place.
Good guy with a fairly decent track."

I was hoping someone else had posted ahhh well.

Listened to the BT Sport podcast this morning; it was stated that paddock insiders believe that Ducati are paying Jorge 25 million for a two year deal. Ducati don't just want him to win races, they are paying him to win the championship. Jorge's current form must be causing considerable concern in Borgo Panigale.

The consensus was that Vinales performance at Sliverstone will not be a one-off, and they were saying that in a way it's sad that Vinales is leaving Suzuki.
They also think Ducati may have retained the wrong Andrea. They expect Iannone will be quick on the Suzuki. (The more the merrier I say.)

Previously I commented that the BT Sport commentary team is experienced. That was highlited this morning, they were discussing Bendsnyders podium at Silverstone, it being 22 years since a Dutchman was on the podium. One of them (Hutchinson?) pipes up, "I was in that race."

And in an unrelated item: it was anounced at Misano that the number 58 has been retired - unless the family wish to unretire it some time in the future. That is not completely unlikely as Paolo Simoncelli, Marco's father, will be entering a team in Moto3 from next year.

So are we going to have eight different winners in eight races?

KTM in for the long haul by the looks
KTM signs five-year agreement with Dorna
New MotoGP entrant for 2017, KTM, is the first manufacturer to sign the new manufacturer agreement for a period of five years.
    Tags MotoGP, 2016
On the Friday afternoon during the GP TIM di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta and KTM Motorsport Director Pit Beirer put pen to paper to finalise the contract between the two parties. The new agreement, which represents the interests of all the constructors involved in motorcycle racing, has also been sent to all manufactures on the grid.

Innanone fractured his back in a crash, not sure if he will do the next practice session, yet to be decided
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
