The new improved "understated" Crasher.
Stoner's riding again today and going pretty quick too.
Aaaaand... in ominous news for the rest of the paddock... Lorenzo reeeeally likes the Michelins.

Stoner five laps in 2m 1.096s sitting in second atm.
That's within seven hundredths of Rossi's best time of the weekend. Come on baby!
The pundits usally say something like, "Times in testing are meaningless".
Rossi and Lorenzo have three bikes each to test, plus new electronics and new tyres. The other factories will be trying to push through a full schedule of testing too. All of them with limited time. Already busy busy, but then time was lost through red flags and rain.
Some teams changed to soft tyres and went after a fast lap late in the day when the track was cooler and more conducive to a quick time. Others were probably feeling the pressure of the over-full testing programme and gave it a miss.
Stoner is testing again today apparently, this time with a cleaner track. Be interesting to see if he is tempted, although he was only scheduled to be riding the GP15.
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Lorenzo goes under 2 minutes.
I dunno how much the times mean from this testing for the season ahead. They're there to collect data after all, which will then be turned into changes later as well as at the track.
But it certainly does suggest that Jorge is adapting well.
The Stoner comment about fitting up a pair of soft hoops to get a hot lap don't ring true to me. It's as important to do as any other testing, to know how the bike reacts in qualifying conditions I'd have thought. So for him there's no point, but it's valuable to the rest of the pack.
