Recently Pol Espagero made a petulant little speech about how Yamaha hadn't kept their part of the bargain and he was looking for a ride elsewhere next year. It seems that speech has resulted in his being told his services will not be required at Tech3 in 2017. His contract with Yamaha expires and he isn't getting one from Tech3.

Rather more sadly Smith has also been told he will not have a seat at Tech3 next year. OK he never looked like the next alien, but he has done everything that could reasonably be asked of a satellite team rider. Here's hoping he can pick up a factory ride. Assuming Yamaha and Honda are out, that still leaves Ducati, Suzuki, Aprilia and KTM in 2017.

And a little boy waits for the season to begin...

Will Lozenge piss off over the horizon?
    Will Marquez crash?
Will the head of VR explode?
Will Nick Harris have a stroke while saying Maaaaaaaaark Marq....thud?

bring on the real racing - By that I mean Moto3. GP is the dogs bollocks, but I loves the junior series I does.

Anyone brave to pick a winner there? I think there are ten at least, though I might stick my neck out and pick Fenati
Also, I would like to see Maria Herrera get a couple of top ten finishes. She was close in a couple of races last season and had wifey bouncing up and down. (On the chair - not me)

Fenati is too much of a hot head.
Money is on Miguel Oliveira, top form last season

He is in Moto2. Otherwise he would definitely be my pick too.
I am hoping Fenati has had the hard word and calmed down a bit. He certainly has the speed and talent (as do many others in the class)

Fuck that's right he is too.

With out sounding disrespectful, Fenati looks to me to perhaps be under pressure to be the next Rossi, which I don't honestly think he has shown us yet. That desire to be like his idol might lead to his temper tantrums. Similar to Marquez juniors tantrums after Miller spent a race roughing him up, great expectations lead to great pressure to perform. At the end of the day though they are basically hormonal teenagers, so it remains to be seen what their true character is.

With Oliveira out then I'll have to go for young Quatararo, he certainly started last year well but faded a bit due to big pressure and injury, lets hope that pressure is not as much this season and he can get back to proving himself as the next alien.

And Hanika will still have a mullet by the years end, to podium first one needs to not crash every 5 minutes.

Mate...that was the shittiest racing I've ever seen, I think Marquez Junior handled it pretty well considering. Imagine what Rossi would've done!

Go on, be disrespectful He probably won't find out and hunt you down.

I think you are right about being under pressure to be the next Rossi, right down to the crap qualifying. I just hope he has got the maturity now to back off a bit and finish well instead of win or bust.

PS: Hanika for crasher of the season?

I'd say Crazy Joe on the Doocati ,if I wasn't a Yamaha fan.

    Hafta say Valentino tho !

He's paying $17.00, so I had a wee dabble on him. Smart money is on Lorenzo though. Barbera was 4th quickest, and I couldn't help but waste $20.00 on him seeing as he's paying $201.00. Never gonna happen though. But should it...too good.
