Apart from MM on pole that's an unusual looking grid. I hope it's going to be a good race but with a head start like that Marquez might disappear.

Ah well, it's a nice day so meantime I'm off up the Forgotten World Highway...

That's a bit more imaginative than my effort. NP - Stratford - Whangamomona. Beer, burger and return.

The pub staff were running off their feet, there were maybe twenty old yank tanks like 60s Thunderbirds, Corvettes, etc as well as several groups of bikes including Taranaki and North Habrbour Ulysses.

    Now to the racing...

    Crashfest Moto 3.

Shortened to 10 laps for restart..

Adit: Sarfie new world champ Binder took it.

Weather is good, but there's a couple of hours to go 'til Moto 1...

    Down the road.

M.M. just threw it away, while ahead by a country mile - front end lose,
at the same right hand turn (4) where he'd done it before..

Michelin technical race-boss admitted that the front is their issue, ( & that P.Is is a real bastard to 2nd guess)..
both with the porky 4Ts, & choosing 17in tyres as - a commercial call.

Cal now inherits the lead by 3.5 secs, but V.R. is looming, having cut through the field..

    A. Sparagus just did a turn 4 front-end off, with 4 laps to go,
V.R. has cooled it, so its Cal's to win, or lose, now..

    Well done Cal.

Pomgolians will cream themselves over this..

Mad Jack stomped the KY-kid out of the way in yes, turn 4, for 10th! 'Move it or lose it, factory-bitch'
    Hilarious..

V.R. earned the arse-grab from his long-term squeeze..

    Sparraguts II got 3rd..

    Lozenge finished ~20 seconds back..

    Cal's a bloody card...

He admits he was "terrified" when he saw M.M. drop it,
but says he felt "confident" he could've beaten him, anyhow..

He's the 1st Pom since Bazza in `79 to have won two big 'uns in a season.

1st 'down the road - racing incident' for M.M. this year too..

well there is still interest for me in the final points standings....if the weather is at all dodgy in the remaining two events george could still lose third in the standings to MVand Dani could lose out to Cal and Dovi

...MM was crowned, big cheese, last week, this week was secondary entertainment...and that is what it was, to the max...the old cunt hung in, the pom took it out, and the others had a fucking good race...

    Lots of interest in that.

Rossi went through the field like a dose of salts. Amazing performance for a guy that some of you were saying recently was past it and going to quit. Apparently y'all forgot he was leading the championship last year until the final round. Without checking, I'd guess that most years he didn't win the title he was second. He may yet be second again this year.

Crutchlow is another who seems under appreciated hereabout. Rossi demolished the rest of the field but he couldn't match Crutchlow. According to the pundits Honda are known to seek and to value the opinions of Crutchlow.

Jack Miller may be slightly less appreciated by Honda tonight after taking down their remaining factory rider.

Marquez may be a riding deity but even he can commit unforced errors.

The Moto2 championship is still alive and Luthi has a good record at Sepang.

    Bring it on.

Hats off to Crutchlow! I may even owe someone beer? Awesome ride by him...and even more so by Rossi to come from 15th!

MM lost me my money at the TAB. Stupid cunt.

Be great to see CC get amongst the regulars next year, even though I never thought I'd see the day.
