Great win to Dovi, as said above well deserved too. And happy to see Vale secure second in the championship.

F1 has had 9 different winners in the last 5 seasons.

    2016:
    Lewis Hamilton
    Nico Rosberg
    Daniel Ricciardo
    2015:
    Sebastian Vettel
    2014:
    No new winners
    2013:
    Kimi Räikkönen
    Fernando Alonso
    2012:
    Mark Webber
    Pastor Maldonado
    Jenson Button

    What a shit show.

    More reasons I don't watch F1.

Did you notice like UFC (which I also stopped watching), F1 gets plastered and wrapped with commercials? I just want to watch the race!

More reason I like MotoGP. No build up bullshit hype (UFC) and dodgy website-like annoying commercials.

    Anorak dept..

So, which anorak will inform us as to how long since the 1-2-3 Q-positions have also stepped up on the box - in that order?

Where's my positive rep for picking Dovi as the winner? Miserable cunts!

In all seriousness, must be a bloody relief for him to get a win, he's had a couple of bikes capable and never quite managed it. Great win and he beat one of the best fair n square to do it.

Just had a quick nosey at Aleix Espagaro's results in Valencia since he got on board a GP bike. He got some solid finishes on the crappy open class Yamaha there and beat Mav there last year (as he did most the year anyways).
Could we hope for 10 winners? Be a nice fuck you too Suzuki for dumping him for crash bandicoot.

EsA? He is quick on the clock no doubt but the top dogs (Lorenzo, Rossi, Marquez, Iannone even his current team mate etc) are just way too competitive for his chance to actually win. Long shot.

    Two questions-

Doesn't Dovi come across as a nice and a humble guy?

When the fuck is someone going to murder Harris?

He sure is a nice guy. Probably why he's not as competitive as the others who have all come across as a cunt at some stage in their career.

As for Harris, time he hung up his lungs and fucks off. Problem is the others along side him are all using exactly the same words from the Harris dictionary (which is only 1 page long in 58pt font) so we'll be stuck with "very very" "crucial" "masterclass" "A little bit wide" for a very, very long long time.

Well at least Marquez thinks the same as I:

"With Dovi I have a good relationship and he deserves to win. He is a really important rider for Ducati, for improving their bike. He has worked very hard for them. We already said in the press conference, 'who will be the next winner?' Now maybe in Valencia, it will be Espargaro."

    Which Espargaro?

"It could be Aleix or Pol. It would be nice to have a tenth winner… Actually no, I want to win in Valencia!" Marquez grinned.

While Marquez has already secured the riders' title, Honda also heads to Valencia with a 21-point lead over Yamaha in the constructors' championship - but is ten points behind Movistar Yamaha in the teams' standings.

    Drunken Aussie shenanigans?

Did any 'keen larrikin' Aussies strip down to their 'budgie smugglers' in Sepang - or is that only a 'classy' F1 thing?

I saw 'Mad Jack' was muted, had HRC stuck his ECU on 'full wet' mode after the factory 'ross of face' at P.Is.,
    - or did they give him the opportunity to be "chillin' 'n' shit" - just in case he lost the front end fangin' it, too?

He still made the last 250 GP champ who replaced the KY-kid on Pedro's bike, look 'a bit ordinary' - as the Aussies put it..

Might've been anglin' to show the wee bloke the benefits of his A-Style sponsorship program?
