Hi everyone, nice to be here looks like a cool place. Just got a new(old) bike and its been a few years since ive been on the road unfortunately.
It is a 1982 xl250rc and new to me so if anyone else owns one you might (probably will lol) get a few inquiries from me as things dont seem right.
looking forward to hanging around and helping when and where i can. till then bye.

The XL250R was a great machine.
One tip to remember, old Honda's love fresh oil, and they hold only a small amount, so change it often. (about every 4000km).
Any noises in the engine needs to be checked out.
They didn't have an oil filter, (just a screen behind the clutch cover, and I think a centrifugal sludge trap)
Enjoy it, and buy a maintenance manual.
