Changing exhaust?

I own a Keeway Bkackster 250i and I want to change the exhaust. I want to take out the pipe and replace it with a slightly larger diameter pipe just to get a better sound. By doing this the fuel mixture will change but will the fuel injection sensors correct this automatically for me. Or will there be a problem. Any help in this would be much appreciated.

It's a keeway. Just chuck on a slip on muffler.

It's a keeway. Drill some holes on the exhaust for more noise.

Funny enough I know some people whos actually done that on their Ninja 250s.

1: Life isn't so serious that it's frowned upon to have a laugh

2: you got 2 serious answers too.

3: You're looking at spending hundreds/thousand $$$ on a bike not worth much. You can spend $1500, get a new exhaust system, then your $2000 bike will be worth $1800 and you've pissed money and time up against a wall. And I know money matters to you or why else would you own a keeway?

4: ebay/aliexpress buy a cheap shitty slip on muffler, done.

OK .. try this .. this was recomended to me by a bike shop and it worked (mind you, I don't have a keeway.)

Discounnect the battery - put on the new pipe .. reconnect the battery and start the bike .. the bike's system will automatically do a check

The sensors will detect the difference and adjust accordingly ...

Thank you haydes55 for your input but do you have to slag off someone's property. I don't think I asked for your opinion on my bike, only about the exhaust. But an update on that. I have now had the exhaust pipe enlarged and the cost only 180,000vdn that's about $9 not quite the amount you was quoting. Oh and thank you for your concern about my money and how I spend it.

At best, I would expect it to have a narrow band sensor. You couldn't really adjust it properly without loading a new fuel map and using a wide band sensor. Being such a small capacity engine you would never do this if you just wanted a better sounding bike.

So just find an exhaust you like the sound of and use it. The performance impact will be minor and I wouldn't worry about it.
