    Fire extinguisher rules

Remember every rider has to have there OWN one, and at the next round, you must prove it by bringing it to riders briefing, or you will be sent home!!!!

Every rider must have a fire extinguisher, it's been part of the rules for...as long as a piece of string...

    OK we are getting closer

what is the rule number and the actual wording

I have searched the MNZ site and cant find it, so maybe it isnt in the rulebook, in which case it wouldnt be a rule unless it was in the supplimentry rules for the meeting.

I agree it is common sense and I have 2 extinguishers, but it seems to have fallen out of the book

You cant break the rules if they not in the book

Is it? I don't ever remember seeing the actual rule but I've been told that often enough

Can anyone find the actual rule? I've just checked a few sections of the MNZ rule book and can't find it
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

    Well it's 6 - 12 - 4 in my hardcopy which I will admit is about 4 seasons old.....

I'd add to the warning by stating that random roll call may take place to ensure riders are actually present at the briefings.....

If they'd done that and called Strouds name he might have a few less trophies

there is a 6.12 but it has nothing to do with putting out fires

6.12 No entrant or rider shall change motorcycles during a race unless the change is authorised in the supplementary regulations.

I suspect my asking the Executive members present at Ray's funeral who was going to give Andrew his annual bollocking now Ray was gone, may have had something to do with it, or not....

6 - 12 - 1 to 5 in my book all relates to refuelling and safety. i can't open the MNZ site.
Sounds like someone's stuffed it up....Or moved the lot of the safety regs.
