Easy, just delve into your collection of 80's British pop bands, put on your white socks and slip on shoes and away you go.....

Why don't you put up a pic of said bike...

Some forces in Oz use them to great effect, so I wouldn't be surprised if that idea is picked up. That said, the bikes are seen as expensive to run, plus they're slowly replacing the BMWs with cheaper Hondas...

It just looks wrong with it spelled 'Police' instead of 'Polizia'...

Oh yeah, that's nice and subtle... like a sledgehammer to your fingers instead of a pen...

Since they're not allowed BMWs, I doubt that's ever going to pass

in the recent weeks from Akl

went to Te Awamutu - Sunday morning saw approx. 20 marked police cars before I got there.

went to Rotorua saw a few and a few unmarked ones

went to Taupo saw almost no marked ones, the unmarked ones were following I guess.

but saw a whole lot of drivers who couldn't drive for shit, cutting blind corners, overtaking on hills, double yellow lines the usual.

none of them were police cars of any type

must admit though if they want to improve the standard then they must show it too.

Sometimes I think they should put more effort into reporting about the road conditions and have more influence on the roading authorities so they fix roads up properly, signage, road surface etc rather than just give outy tickets
ACC and Insurance companies could do that too

However some of the road speeds (some are stupid) and signs hidden behind trees etc - what idiots look after these?

about time the Ranguriri/Cooks Landing and South Of Ngaruawhia roads are fixed.

Easy work Huntly and the Taupiri bypass..... just set cruise
