SH 22 is a bit shitty at the moment, not what I'd class as a long ride, all day type thing either.
    What about Kawhia?

I would say the kawakawa bay run but some of the roads a quite shit at the moment... Gravel and Oil, (Experiencing first hand ) all the usual junk that we don’t want on the roads. I hope they have cleaned this up by now.

Was fairly clean when we went through on sunday. Just residual(sp?) dirt and dust from a few land slips caused by all the rain recently. Nothing to worry about.

might be on a 600 by this time next month, got sweet FA tread left on the rear tyre now, probably wouldnt endure another ride so will have to just commute til i get a new bike as i dont wanna spend up on tyres just yet.

Will keep an eye out for anything i like the look of.

At the moment the Kaiaua for lunch looks aight. 'best' chippy in the country too aparently.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
