What PT said, you havent given us much to work on mate.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

For $50, you'll take whatever you can get.

I can start you off with a MB100 frame, tank and seat, forks, bars, rear mudguard.

Look for a crappy old CB250RS or even an MZ ETZ250 or Supa 5 lying in someone's backyard.

Both easy to work on, fairly easy to get going again from a rough state, and probably both cheap. Also you will get a reasonable bike out the other end that you can happily ride round on the road at open road limits.

Keep in mind that if you only spend $50, you'll spend at least another $50 in parts if you want it to go again. Spend $100 straight off and you'll probably be better off. Alternatively, if you want to just pull something apart, go down to your local wreckers yard and pick up some piece of rubbish off them.

Why not work on your XR250?
