Seems that you don't need much in the way of anything meaningful to carry a gun in the US except your "rights". Probably not too surprising that the American police have such a high fatality rate with weapons given that every man and his dog is able to have a gun on them, meaning that the cops have no meaningful advantage (threat of using their weapon) over Joe Gun-owner out there. Collateral damage is always gonna be inevitable.
America - where you're more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist.
(And police work doesn't even rank in the top 10 most dangerous jobs there).
They seem to think they are still all fukin cowboys, and have the write to carry a gun FFs.
Well, they do have a right to carry a gun - it is enshrined in their constitution. You can't really fault people for doing what they are legally entitled to do.
The real problem is the Constitution, the Mythos surrounding private gun ownership (in the US), Lobby groups etc.
