Of course not. A hardley won't fit into a Dyson.

Of course not. It needs a "pointy end". harley fergusson's don't have anything resembling "pointy" or "aerodynamic", just large areas of barn-door flatness and pig-iron.

Hmmmm, maybe one of those really raked out one with the skinny front tyre....

...and lots and lots of tassels at the back.

    No.

    Just... No.

They have no aerodynamic qualities, handle like shit, can't corner and are ugly. Even with tassels, arse-less trousers and plenty of anal lube.

But Hollyweird loves them, so they will probably be on the cool wall somewhere.

Just tapped into this one . 261 is far too fast :-) and how was it checked ?( Haven't been through every message) Funny how I've got a black Gen 2 in the garage and my gear is all black and .. I occasionally take a trip out west but definitely not at 8.30 on a Saturday evening .

How you could possibly stay within the posted speed limit on that downhill straight without feathering the brakes I wouldnt know as I always choose to use the throttle ...................

Too easy, just flick the kill switch & diesel-style engine-brake it.. working the throttle will modulate the speed..

That part of the highway was designed to enable one to double the posted speed limit with little effort or as the name conrod straight implies to push your engine to its limits.

I wonder what speed a v-rod with a front screen would get up to if it were geared right?

Probably nothing too exciting by current standards - they make a tad over 120bhp and they have a five speed box.

Might need more than a front screen. Turbo, extended swingarm and a couple of nitro shots and it'll do sub 8 1/4 mile easy

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

    V-Rod

A search comes back with 140 mph (indicated so actually a bit less with speedo error)

That's still a respectable 220 ish. Presuming it is correct that is a fast windsock.
