Thanks for the *Magical Mystery Tour* Yoshi, sorry I had to love and leave you at the Glen Murray turnoff along 22 (had 5 bikes follow me who I promptly turned around) but I kinda lost track of the time and had to be back in Ak for 1.30pm. The weather looked horrible at that point down 22 so I hope the tour didn't get too waterlogged!!

Good to see heaps of lurvely bikes out there today with a good mixture of sprotbikes and "farm bikes" (Mr Skids words). Plenty of stops for regrouping and a comfortable pace up the front.

There's plenty more riding coming up over the next months so I'll see you KBer's on the next ride!

Thanks Yoshi, a great ride, pity about the rain and wind but still at a good pace, I even saw $160+ once or twice sitting back on the tale, and most of the trip was at $120+, big up's to the newbie’s that came along, I saw some really good riding out there and you kept up really well especially InDeSkyz, damn impressive for only 7 weeks in the saddle.

I dont know who the 636 belongs to but i thought it was awesome, if you want a copy i have it at 2048x1536

Great ride a couple of new roads to add to the list and the stop was good. Even the rain at the end wasnt so bad. At least when I got home there were no bugs to wash off!

Whoa! You guys weren't kidding about breaking my group ride cherry. It was Awesome yoshi.
For the first time, I 'nicked' my toe, had the back skip, had the back lock, and rode 300kms in one day, to add to my arsenal of 500!

I appologise to the people I held up, and one guy on a black bike that I sorta pulled out of passing the truck around mercer.

And to the biker in red -with a red bike that pointed out my peg down before the first corner, man, huuuge ups to you. I will pay more dam attention next time.

Now, if you'd all excuse me, Im gona con some mates to go to the pools so I can soak the pain away.

Saw you and one other (Draco?) going south on SH1 just passed Mercer, did you see me? I was scuttling away from the precipitation as you were riding into it!

Thanks for organising that, yoshi. It was a pity about the rain, but I still had a good time. It was good to meet a few new people and catch up.

On the way back with affman and dveus I had my first experience of a bike fishtailing...
Straight piece of road, in the rain, I wasn't doing anything silly, I think maybe there was a slight bump in the road or something, but the back of the bike slid from side to side a couple of times and it felt like I had to apply a fair bit of force to the handlebars to keep straight.
It's a bloody good feeling to make it through an "oh shit" moment like that without crashing!
