    RG150 carb problem

I recently bought a RG that had been sitting for about 4 years
I cleaned the carb out completely

    Problem. Fuel not shutting off.

With the bottom bowl off the carb, putting fuel down the inlet pipe on the carb the fuel will shut off when I push the float/needle up, but doesn't seem to shut off on its own. I have set the float level to 7mm. Needle appears to slide nicely and there is no stoping it
Is it just a mater of replacing the needle as it is old and worn? or something elce?

The fuel overflows out all 3 overflow outlets on the carb.

Take the float Assembly out. Careful punch supported if pin stuck.

Take the float seat out. Check/replace o-ring. Also clean out, a hair for example will stop the needle sealing.
Don't you look at my accountant.
