Why so many 2nd hand MT-09s

Have to ask... been looking at these bikes for a while and noticed a fair amount of them on TM with low K's.

The touch throttle can be remapped now and yes they have really soft suspension & a tiny friggin tank... but I still see those with after market suspesion units for sale too.

Any ideas..?

You would need know how many were sold new to work out if its a large percentage being resold or not.

Im only seeing 5 used ones not including ex demonstrators. Maybe a lot were sold to people as a first bike after full licence and they want to go bigger now or maybe they appealed to a midlife crisis crowd who lost the urge after a year of riding and want hardleys or convertibles this year.
Could be they were marketed well but are a crap ride.
