well it looks like after 2 rounds its a five horse race this season.
Shaun is well in the lead
Young Jacob Stroud is on the charge.
Matthew Hoogenboezem is darn fast but missed two races due to a crash (no fault of his)
Gavin Veltmyer has found form and wins the starts
Johny lewis is sticking in there
Shauns results at the end of this second round are are five wins and a second place. 145 of a possible 150 points.
    Jacob Stroud has ,three 2nd place finishes a 4th a 5th and 6th----------------- -----94points of a possible 150 points
    Gvin Veltmyer Has a 2nd three 3rds and two 4ths -------------------------------------- 94 points
    Johnny Lewis has three 3rds two 4th and a 5th========================= 72 points
    Matthew Hoogenboezem has a 1st a 4th and a two 5th ------------------------------------ 60 points

Remaining points available I believe is 150 unless one meeting is a double header in which case 225 available

Points structure is25 for a win, 20 for second
    16 for third
    13 for fourth
    11for fifth
    10 for 6th
    9 for seventh --etc , 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
    14.9i Championship

Easy points in Pro Twin, I think there were 7 or 8 bikes at Rd. 1 !!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of which,is it still a championship with 8 horses ??

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

minimum entry at ALL rounds for it to qualify as a national title is 6 bikes.

It is a shame he isn't racing again this year, would love to have seen him vs Stroud on similar machinery, the old master vs the new young gun.

Speaking of which Aaron was bloody quick too. I remember meeting him and his family when he was a wee tot at the first round of the Nationals they hosted at Hampton downs... I'm feeling old now...

Good luck to all racing at Teretonga this weekend.
Would they be battling for second place behind Sloan?

    Doubt it...
No denying Sloan has uped his game this year and is flying, but Jaden is no slouch and beat Sloan fair and square to the title last year.

It was a jab about him being left out of the equation, not an actual prediction.
