Top right when you open, there is a cog, go to that then About Internet Explorer. Otherwise, if you have a toolbar along the top left, choose Help > About Internet Explorer.

Meh. Just because support ends doesn't mean it stops working, but then I'm trying to stop people using it anyway. Download Firefox or Chrome (yes, more techy peeps can use others).

Hell, we're still buying copies of Win7. Support ended last year

Go to Google - type in 'Download Firefox' or 'Download Chrome'

    Never use IE ever again.

You have two levels of "support" from Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-nz/windows/lifecycle

I say "support" because I've only ever called about activation issues (some including brand new products) and they haven't even fixed them all. One call included telling me I had to order manufacturer discs for a 6 year old PC... hahahah

MS is pushing Win10 hard, including pestering Win7 users - which is sorta on my to-do list to figure out how to kill all the reminders, but MS is cunning and release new updates doing the same thing...

I still support an XP machine, it still runs fine chugging along no worries....
I would be still mucking about in Vista 64 if it wasn't for 1 program I use (they force you to upgrade)
I hope to never go through the nightmare that was Vista to 8.1 - MS not telling ya that you need to get product keys (for mostly MS products as they turn them off/hide them) then ask for the product keys (WTF????)

MS is getting really hard to even trying to get the auto update to install 10
I have installed this on 2 machines. From 7 and 1 that was supposed to be 10 (but supplier gave 8.1 saying that 10 was installed-buggers). Both took a while and required a few reboots etc but on the whole painless.

Just wish they hadn't altered the outlook format and colour scheme it's hard on my eyes.

On the 'web help' pages would be nice if I could just select a section of text/instructions and only print that part not the whole MS web page.

Myself just waiting for program supplier to confirm that W10 is certified for use then I will downgrade to 10 as I have only now really getting the hang of 8.1 after 12 months
