    Secret Suzuki fork oil?

    Need to fill up an old suzuki gsx forks, manual says to use suzuki #15 fork oil.

    Anyone know what weight that is in normal speak?

    That the 550 ? 15wt fork oil is a good start point for all The GS/GSX forks of that era.

    Had to order some in, not that common these days, but indeed 15w was what I ran in my old GSs.

    yeah its for the 550. Did the fork change on the later model ones? as mine doesn't have the brake activated antidive, its got the adjustable gold things instead. but all the manuals I have/can find only have the brake activated one in.

    will the fork oil height be the same?

    Whitetrash' GSX had the adjuster out the front too I think. Can't remember for sure though.

    The fork oil height only controls the secondary cushioning effect near the end of the stroke.

    It would be somewhere near the same with room to experiment.
