Flown to Ch-Ch hospital intensive care after medics worked on him for an hour trackside.

As far as anyone knows, he is in a critical but stable condition in Christchurch Hospital. There have been no updates on his condition that have been broadcast anywhere that I am aware of today. It is going to be a waiting game for everyone unfortunately...

FFS, he wasn't Jesus H. Christ, almighty..

As a racer, who'd likely already had one bad one too many, he knowingly took the risk.. & crashed again big time..

That's tough.. & he may or may not recover, this time ( & it aint up to us..) - too.. but no need to get all faux sooky about it, eh..

As riders, we bloody well know - the same fate - could well await any of us, pretty each & every time we head out..

Newstalk ZB broadcast that he was still critical at the 4pm or 5pm news update.
