    We have a winner!

I'd like to see the crash test for that.

It's kind of cool at the same time. Awesome gimp mobile if it was made from black studded leather. Most of the Eastern block stuff is kind of cool. Air cooled v8:

Velorex was a manufacturing cooperative in Solnice, Czechoslovakia. Notable products included a small three-wheeled car, produced from the 1950s until 1971, and the Type 562 sidecar. The sidecar is still manufactured in the Czech Republic by Velorexport, the successor to Velorex.

    Many thanks wikipedia - Velorex

    As for that pun...

Well, if we're going Eastern block, the Lada has to make the list.

Plus, not only are they terrible (for crashing, reliability, the butt of jokes etc etc) but just look at the Russian dash cam vids... Ladas make up a large percentage, so they're dangerous for anyone in the vicinity... and I've even seen vids where they crash into each other

Was it the DS that had the turning headlights and three height adjustment from the hydraulic suspension at the flick of a lever.
That was ahead of it's time.

So Fugly, I considered it an asset, not one would have been bothered to steal it.

From what I recall it was actually very comfortable, with plenty of power and quite frugal on the gas when doing long mileage, both up hill (they have a few mountains) and down and in the desert.
It had a reasonable powerful engine and an excited cruise control.
It had a large boot space to keep the hookers and other gear.

It was easy to spot as almost no one would park next to it.

    They make sidecars too

Don't use my real name, don't want the Velorex appreciation society coming around....

Czech this one out, I first saw one in 1989 having slipped thru the Austrian Czech Border on my BMW r75/5.
Its an air cooled V8 Tatra, mostly used by the Govt, Ultimate Bad Guys car.

This looks like something you would see in Tirau.
