The old partsbin special. Great way of using up surplus parts.
Dunstall used to make more money selling off all the factory norton parts on his new bike specials
Granted as its on a spine frame, but in profiles similar shape.
i guess the shape being similar in profiles is a resullt of styling on purpose.
I have no idea why they never styled bikes after the Manx.

Maybe he should have been more specific

Its like someone mixed an edsel a 60's maserti and a 60's covette stingray to together with late 50's T bird.
It looks like it should be a batman era baddies car or something from the thunderbirds.
But only used the ugly parts and different designers for each piece.

I can imagine the conversation between Enzo and designer, (Bertone?)

Enzo: "I want you to design a new model for me,,, a bit different. This is for the American market."

Bertone, or whoever: Ok, I know exactly what you want. They're all idiots over there, so you'll want something as ugly as fuck!"

Remember, that GOOD QUALITY TRAINING stays with you forever. It doesn't get sold with your bike, or expire with your rego. It stays with you FOREVER..

Jeeez what's up with the headlights on that thing. Looks like someone gashed the front guards open with an axe and just poked them in the slot

...hated, is such a strong and unusual word to ascribe to a feeling about a car...but then again, I love them...
