Events at Ruapuna or Levels, 6-18 March 2016?

As the title says, does anyone know of any track days or open days at Ruapuna or Levels this March?

I'm coming down and want to maximise my time there and get out on track if I can.

Looks like Friday's are still a go, but definitely not Tuesday's from the sounds of things...

Fridays still happening, I got told by someone that they have clamped down the access quite a bit (race license required from memory). Might pay to give them a ring to check it is all ok.

They still run them occasionally on Tuesday's when the Friday's have been privately booked.
As of the 1st of Jan they tightened the rules quite a lot on testing days, you need a race license and cars have to be scrutineered.

Luckily for you Trevor Pierce are running a Track day on the 14th of March, check their Facebook page.

I was just about to ask about this one as I just saw it. Is it really a track day or a 'training day'?

Re. Tuesday's, how far out do you usually hear if these are on?

As for the Trevor Pierce Day. Technically its a training day, expect to spend at least an hour in the morning doing classroom work/safety crap and they will have a few instructors out on track with you.
Ive have only done one of their days before and since i have spend a decent time on track they largely left me alone to have a hoon around.

    Cool, good info thanks.

Reading their facebook event it seems like you only get out on track in the afternoon? Was that the case when you did it?

Have messaged them asking if the day in any way caters for regular track riders.

Most of the classroom stuff is directed at newer riders, they normally let the more experienced guys or those that have already done it before out on track during this time.

Oh that would be ideal! Still waiting on a response from the guys there but if that was the case it sounds pretty acceptable...

No go unfortunately, was advised by the shop that the day is not appropriate for experienced track riders and was very politely told that it wasn't the day for me.
