eek Are you the instructor on Lake Road, Belmont?

Hello, I though I try my luck here...
Riding to work this morning on Lake Road in Belmont going towards Devo..
You pull up beside me at the traffic light, had a HiViz vest with instructor written on it...
I gather you had some kind of "constructive" feedback or comment about me/my bike...
Unfortunately between the bikes noise and my hear plugs I did not catch a single word that you said...
Was curious to figure what you wanted from me since you are an instructor and all...

I'm an instructor in Christchurch. I wear a hi viz with Instructor written on it.

I used to be Navy, so I know Devo (Whip It), Belmont and Lake Road.

    I ride a BMW.

If it were me I'd have said "Keep medicines in a high cabinet away from children".

Sorry, I'm in a frivolous mood.

Definately a sound suggestion, I'll move my medicines straightway ... however I think the instructor this morning was less than impressed with my splitting lanes antics haha
( can't be late for work ... those grey ships are not going to clean them self !).

I got a speech from the Training MEO Butch Beeman when I joined in 82 about apprentices killing themselves on motorbikes.

    He was bloody near right.

Funny how the world has turned.

I was actually in the RNZNH Philomel in 1982 with an attack of Gasterenteritis.....I had apparently passed out at colours...
Anyway, in the bed next to me was a second year apprentice that had half his right foot almost lopped off due to a low slide on a motorbike!
He seemed proud as punch telling me the story....

Maybe he liked your riding and wanted to offer you a job as a motorcycle instructor ???
